Historia:
Docencia:
Students study online at the Universitys virtual campus and receive tutorial support via telephone. The UDIMAs assessment system includes a range of activities for evaluation. Participation in learning activities and online tutorials Each study unit or set of units is supported by an online forum. This is the main channel of communication and tutorial support for the virtual classrooms in each subject. They are a place for critical and creative thinking and students are required to reflect and organize their ideas before expressing them in writing. All students are encouraged to lose any initial reticence and to participate fully in the forum so that they can adopt the role of peer teachers for their fellow students. Self-assessment tests Each subject involves the taking of a number of self-assessment tests. These are multiple-choice tests aimed at evaluating student knowledge following the study of one or more study units. From the first day of term, the student can sit the tests in his or her virtual classroom according to the dates fixed in the subject calendar. The correcting and grading of the tests is done automatically on the campus learning management system. The student can obtain online feedback for each test taken and the grade obtained, the aim being to make students autonomous learners and to motivate them to make rapid progress through their course. Continuous Assessment Activities The practical tests include case studies, studies based on information search skills, and the writing and presentation of reports. These tests can be taken individually or, with the approval of the course tutor, in groups so as to develop collaborative working skills. On-site Examinations and Tests The final exams are a compulsory requirement and must be taken on-site. They serve to demonstrate that the student has acquired the knowledge associated with the learning objectives of each subject
