Science and Technology Parks

Currently, Spain has more than 80 Science and Technology Parks. These institutions play a key role in promoting knowledge and technology transfer between research centres and between the economic and industrial sectors and society in general.

Spanish universities have holdings in 35 Science and Technology Parks. The strong presence of the university and the close interaction with the business world enables companies to benefit from the scientific and technological knowledge generated by university researchers and make a key contribution to raising the country’s competitiveness.
