Once again this year, the Universidad.es Foundation attended the Europosgrados higher education fair held in two Latin American countries. The fair visited Colombia (Medellín, 11 November and Bogotá, 13 and 14 November) and Mexico (Mexico City, 20 and 21 November and Monterrey, on 24 November). Europosgrados once more attracted a large number of students from these countries interested in finding out more about the opportunities for study in Europe.
The Universidad.es Foundation attended these fairs for the second year running, coordinating the presence of 15 Spanish universities in the event held in Colombia and 20 in the case of Mexico.
In addition to the historical and cultural ties that Spain enjoys with these two countries, Colombia is the country that sends the largest number of international students to Spanish universities each year, and Mexico is the third.
Europosgrados is coordinated by the national agencies in charge of the promotion of the university systems in European countries: Campus France, DAAD in Germany, Nuffic in the Netherlands, and Universidad.es.
Universidad.es is a public sector foundation that aims to promote the Spanish university system throughout the world. The foundation was set up by the Spanish government with the support of Spanish universities, the regional governments and other institutions. Universidad.es was formally constituted on 23 December 2008.
