The Universidad.es Foundation will coordinate the participation of 15 Spanish universities in the coming Annual EAIE Conference which will take place on September 15-18 in the French city of Nantes.

This is the second time that Universidad.es takes part in the EAIE Conference. This event has a symbolic meaning as the Foundation introduced itself to the university world on the occasion of the last annual gathering held in Madrid in September 2009.

Spanish universities will be able to hold meetings with partners as well as to renew or sign cooperation agreements and present their academic offer at the national booth specifically designed for this occasion.

The EAIE is a non-profit organisation whose main aim is the stimulation and facilitation of the internationalisation of higher education in Europe and around the world. It has a permanent office in Amsterdam and it organizes seminars all year round. The conference which takes place in September is the most important event of the association.

The Foundation will present the première of the promotional DVD on September 16 at 12.15pm.

Universidad.es is a public sector foundation that aims to promote the Spanish university system throughout the world. The foundation was set up by the Spanish government with the support of Spanish universities, the regional governments and other institutions. Universidad.es was formally constituted on 23 December 2008.
