Special category for co-operation projects with Spanish universities in the Andrew Heiskell Awards

With the support of Universidad.es Foundation, Spanish universities will be able to participate for the first time this year in the Andrew Heiskell Awards. The Institute of International Education (IIE) created these awards in 2001 to honour outstanding initiatives in international higher education by IIENetwork member universities and colleges. A special category co-sponsored by Universidad.es Foundation has been created this year to honour a cooperation project between a US higher education institution, member of the IIENetwork, and a Spanish university. The award will recognize innovative international partnership efforts between institutions of both countries, especially considering reciprocal initiatives. IIE’s Heiskell Awards are highly prestigious among higher education institutions in the US as they showcase the most innovative and successful models for internationalization of campuses, study abroad programmes and international exchange partnerships in practice today. Applications must be submitted by October 15, 2010. For more details on the Andrew Heiskell Awards, and to download the application, please visit the >>
