New York Universitys program in Higher and Postsecondary Education invites nominations and applications for a tenured professorship in higher education. Our academic programs include masters, PhD and EdD degrees designed to prepare researchers, practitioners and leaders of colleges, universities and policy organizations. This new professorship will provide the opportunity to strengthen the global dimensions of our research programs and curricular offerings. Appointment will include affiliation with NYUs Steinhardt Institute for Higher Education Policy.
Candidates must be internationally recognized scholars whose research focuses on one or more of these areas: organization and governance: public policy; strategic planning; economics and finance in higher education. We are interested in candidates who are examining the impact of globalization on the contemporary university as well as on national systems of higher education.
