PROGRAM OF THE FUNDACIÓN SEPI, EOI, EADS-CASA EDIT 2011
ATTACHEMENT TO THE COLLABORATION AGREEMENT CALL CONDITIONS
The Fundación SEPI, (since now on FUNDACION SEPI) in keeping with the terms and conditions of the Collaboration Agreement subscribed with EADS CASA, S.A. (since now on EADS CASA) on October the 17th. 2011, announces the call of 20 scholarships for a new edition of the “Programa Fundación SEPI - EADS CASA, Sevilla.
1.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SCHOLARSHIPS
1.1 Duration. Duration: eleven months Notwithstanding the above, the effective duration of the training period (since now on Programa) will be of twelve months, since the date of starting, being excluded for these purposes the next month of August. 2012.
The starting date will be December the 19th. 2011. Even so, EADS CASA, S. A. can change the said starting date.
1.2 Geographical distribution.
The practice will be held in any of the divisions that EADS CASA has in Sevilla.
1.3. The Program’s benefits
1.3.1 In spite of the stipulations of Section 7th.of this document the scholarship holders of this “Programa” will receive the following aims, made up by:
a) An eleven-month period of practical training in any of the EADS CASA Sevilla Centers’
b) An allowance integrated as follows:
• An aggregate amount of 11.000 € which will be paid by Fundación SEPI, in eleven installments of 1.000 € monthly, or the proportional part in accordance with the date of starting.
• An accident insurance, which will be subscribed by the Fundación. • A basic health and sickness assistance insurance, for the period during which the scholarship will be in force, this insurance must be subscribed by each one of the beneficiaries. Nevertheless, at the end of the scholarship period the Fundación will reimburse its cost , only
against the delivery of the respective vouchers
c) The execution of a Master in Business Administration (MBA), in the specialization of Aeronautics, in EOI-Sevilla. In accordance with stipulation 5th, Section 2nd.of the above mentioned Collaboration Agreement. EADS CASA will register the beneficiaries in the said Master. The MBA will be carried out in English.
1.3.2 From the amounts mentioned above and in accordance with the Spanish Tax Law, the Fundación will retain the respective tax credit.
1.3.3 The beneficiaries will receive a bank transfer for the amount due, within the first five days of each month.
1.4. Beneficiaries’ legal status.
1.4.1 The legal status of the Beneficiaries of this edict will be of “scholarship holders of the Fundación SEPI”. During their training period, the beneficiaries will be bound by the FUNDACIÓN’s norms. However, it does not mean the existence of any kind of work relationship between the parts.
1.4.2 Fundación SEPI grants this aims in the only interest of the scholarship holders, and only as a help for their training but not as a salary. Along the training period, the scholarship holders must follow the orientation given to them by the tutors assigned by EADS CASA The tutors will assess their aptitude and competence during the practical training.

This period of training does not mean any kind of work relationship between the scholarship holders and the Company.
1.5. Incompatibilities.
These scholarships are incompatible with any other work which the beneficiaries might carry out, either on its own or for a third party, the receipt of the Unemployment Insurance and/or any other kind of scholarship.
APPLICANTS’ REQUIREMENTS
In order to apply for an scholarship of this Programa are necessary the following requirements:
I. To hold the degree of Graduate or Engineer, in any of those listed in the request form, preferably in Aeronautics or Industry, earned at any of the official /acknowledged universities.
The request can be submitted also by the students of the above mentioned universities who have passed, at the end of the period for submitting the requests, all the subjects required for earning the corresponding degree, with the exception of the degree project, and who commit themselves to earning the degree before the end of the scholarship period. In case of failure to keep this commitment, it will not be possible to earn the MBA.
II. A good knowledge of the English language (Advanced or equivalent).
III. To have earned the corresponding degree after December the 31st, 2008.
IV. To have been born after December the.31st, 1981.
V. To be ready to change their place of residence to Sevilla, during the training period.
VI. The applicants can not be a beneficiary of one of our grants or in the past having renounced to one once approved.
 

3. FORM AND DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING THE REQUESTS
The requests will be made only by filling in the form stipulated for this purpose in the Web Site of the Fundación SEPI www.funep.es). (No other way of application will be accepted).
The deadline for submission of the requests will end on November the 3rd. 2011, although it can be extended in case that the Jury in charge of the selection process considered it convenient, in which case, it would be communicated through the Web Site of the Fundación SEPI.

4. EVALUATION, SELECTION AND GRANT OF BENEFITS
4.1. The applicants’ selection process will be carried out by a Jury, (from now on The Jury).and it will be made up by the same number of representatives of the Fundación SEPI, and of EADS CASA. This appointment corresponds to the General Manager of the Fundación SEPI, after nomination of them by the two parties. In any case, the President will be one of the representatives of Fundación SEPI
Besides, in accordance with Section 1.3.1 c) of the present “Call Conditions” the Jury will be assisted by a member of the EOI, as advisor
4.2. The selection processes of the candidates will be developed in the following steps:
• Exclusion: All those applicants whose requests do not meet the requirements stated in Section 2nd. will be excluded from the selection process, as well as those whose request forms do not include all the data required, or who have filled them wrongly.
• Preliminary selection: The Jury will set up the basic conditions of the candidates regarding the following points: academic weight average - this will be obtained in accordance with the number of academic courses and the years engaged to complete them- academic degree, pointing out its specialization branch, English level, computing knowledge and any complementary course indicated by the candidates
In accordance with the Real Decreto 971/2007 dated June the 13th, special consideration will be kept with the high competition sports men and sports women, to whom. the limitation concerning the date of birth and the years engaged in completing their academic studies will not be taken into consideration.
• Aptitude and competence proofs: These proofs could be made under a requirement of EADS CASA and, in any case, only with the express authorization from the FUNDACIÓN.
• Interview with the Jury: Its purpose is to assess the level of education and the aptitude of the candidates in order to achieve the objectives of this Program
During the selection process, the Jury will request the applicants the documentation which might consider necessary for verify that the data provided in the request is true Taking into account the objectives of the programme the Jury will carry out a special evaluation of the titles obtained in foreign universities and their homologation status, in the terms included in the respective Spanish Law.
At the end of the process of selection and in accordance with the whole results the Jury will propose to FUNDACION the concession of the scholarships to the candidates with the higher average. .Under a special situation and for exceptional reasons the Jury could remit to the FUNDACIÓN an explanatory statement in order to consider this offer non cover
The FUNDACIÓN will grant the scholarships based on the proposal submitted by the Jury, and will notify the applicants in writing the award of these scholarships. The applicants who are not selected in this first decision will remain as replacing candidates
If, for any reason, would be necessary the selection process could be extended under the conditions stipulated in Section 3rd, 2nd. paragraph of this document. The agreements which the Jury might have reached will be recorded in Minutes which will be signed by all its Members, and to which can have access all those who have submitted a scholarship’s request form in this process.

5. BENEFICIARIES’ OBLIGATIONS
The obligations of the candidates to whom the scholarship were granted are the following:
• To fill in and send to the FUNDACIÓN, within the period stipulated, the documentation required at the time of the scholarship award.
• To send to the FUNDACIÓN a quarterly report about the training work received during that period, which must be prepared according to the form and content which will be notified to them.
• To communicate immediately to the FUNDACIÓN any event which might affect the normal development of his or her training period
• To maintain during all the time the scholarship is in force the required attitude and interest for progressing in the training.
• To be present at the meetings and interviews to which they might be called by the FUNDACIÓN, in order to follow the development of the training.
• To pay attention to the guidelines given by the tutors in the course of their training activity.
• The registered intellectual and industrial property rights which might result from the practical classes will belong to EADS CASA, without prejudice that, in case that EADS CASA so authorizes, they may be used in the training provided by Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI).
• During all the training period, the scholarship holders will adapt their behavior to the ethical code in force at EADS CASA,
• The foreign citizens without a permanent residence in Spain must get the Identity Number for Foreigners (INF/NIE) and send it, as soon as possible, to FUNDACIÓN SEPI. The said Identity Number is the only legal authorization of residence in Spain and it is a sine qua non condition in order to be awarded with the scholarship.
 

6. CANCELLATION AND ABANDONMENT OF THE SCHOLARSHIP.
6.1. EADS CASA will be able to submit to the Fundación SEPI a reasoned written proposal for the cancellation of the grants to those scholarship holders whose aptitude and competence were not suitable in order to achieve the best of their practical training
6.2. The Fundación SEPI can annul the scholarships for any of the following reasons:
• The verification of some significant irregularity regarding the facts communicated by the Applicant on his/her request form.
• The serious failure on the part of the scholarship holder of any of her/ his obligations stipulated in Section 5th. of this document.
• The acceptance of the previous proposal mentioned above (See 6.1) • When for any canon law the agreements between FUNDACIÓN and
EADS CASA could not be kept.
 

7. DISMISSAL FROM THE PROGRAM
The dismissal from the Program will take place by: • The cancellation of scholarship.
• The willing abandonment on the part of the scholarship holder.
The scholarship’s annulment or abandonment will entail the loss of the rights inherent to it, from the moment it takes place. Notwithstanding, the rights mentioned in this documents will be kept only if the scholarship holder has completed, at least, a month of effective training.
 

8. FINAL CONSIDERATION
Any incidence about this Edit will be resolve or decide by FUNDACIÓN and no subsequent appeal will be admitted.
