DAAD Announces Launch of PhdGermany Database

DAAD is pleased to announce the launch of "PhDGermany," a free, English-language database of opportunities for Ph.D. candidates and researchers at German universities and institutions of higher education. PhDGermany offers direct access to PhD position offers in Germany. The positions are mostly geared toward international applicants. Therefore in most cases the working language is English. Fluent knowledge of German is only required for certain special positions. The database is designed to help you find the right PhD position offer or supervisor for your doctoral thesis and assists you with the online application process.

All accepted candidates will be included in our selection committee member database and will be contacted on an as-needed basis.
